Get in the mind gym with leading trainers in the field of contemporary mindfulness. Experiential exercises, mindfulness practices and reflective activities will provide an interactive and dynamic training opportunity to explore your own mind, be in a new relationship to your body, and discover and redefine what is possible in your life.
mPEAK (Mindfulness, Performance Enhancement, Awareness & Knowledge) is a cutting-edge course built around peak performance, resilience, focus, and “flow” and has been offered to high performing groups including the U.S. Olympic BMX team.
With our support, you will explore the area of your life that makes you feel most like YOU. The program involves a progression of skills. Ongoing virtual group coaching will cultivate changes that stick, pulling from the best of what we know about habit change within a supportive community. Each teen will engage with their own individual training process, within the group environment. Modification options are always provided, as well as ongoing personalized coaching.
your mindfulness workout routine
Develop greater focus, concentration and self-awareness to take your performance to another level in whatever area of your life you care a lot about, while leveraging existing strengths into even more areas of your life. Course themes include: priming for “flow states” during performance events and everyday life, maximizing the present while working toward goals, developing resilience and the ability to be with a wider range of emotionally difficult or physically painful experiences, leveraging personal strengths and stretching your personal edges without giving up or burning out, and recognizing and shifting from critical to compassionate inner self talk.
mPEAK for Teens INCLUDES:
30 min individual coaching intake session prior to course start
Half-day in-person immersion training
Virtual six weeks of skill practice and application (1 hour weekly live-online group session, daily home practice with guided meditation audio)
Modification options and ongoing personalized support from meditation teachers and coaches throughout the workshop
Coaching instruction for deepening reflection, practice application, and integrating mindfulness into performance areas and daily life long after the workshop ends
Small-group periods for discussion and social connection
(Included in live-online course) Skills for grounding in the body and self-care that can be applied to other virtual “screen time”, including academic learning
Course completion certificate
Develop a shared language & connect with your teen. It is recommended that parents of teens participate in the separate, simultaneous mPEAK adult course to provide a shared language, common experiences and parents’ personal transformation to support each teen’s transformation.
